Town of Raymond

Key Benefits
- Improved timeliness of messaging and ability to change content remotely from anywhere
- A feature-rich software that allows for multiple saved playlists and pre-programming schedules
Background
Previously, The Town of Raymond had been using a letterboard sign installed several years ago by a local resident for his Eagle Scout Project. Sue, the town clerk, had to change the sign one letter at a time, but they would often forget to update it, especially if the weather was bad, so messaging was constantly outdated. The town had some money set aside for digital signs, so she began looking for an upgrade.

Challenge
- Replacing sign to improve branding and public perception
- Improving outdated messaging
Solution
After approving the sign, the town and the fire department installed a new high-resolution display from Cirrus.
- Sue loves being able to update content from work or from home. During poor weather conditions, she can let people know about emergency services like where to find potable water and warming shelters.
- Sue can also update both signs from one place using ScreenHub, the signage software. She’s able to choose a playlist for each–she has a sets of slides created for holidays, special occasions, and different events.
- The town is able to get out more messaging to the community more frequently. The sign is updated often and residents are finally getting timely messages. They’re so proud of their new sign that they created a video about it for the town’s website.
