Coulter Animal Hospital's Dr. Hodges had recently sold the front of his property–the part that faced a busy street–to an accounting firm that now obscured his business. Wanting to continue growing his business, he realized if he didn’t put up signage, he was practically invisible. Customers couldn’t find his offices and long-time customers thought he had moved. He felt he was losing business on a daily basis due to lack of visibility.

Dr. Hodges decided to install a new digital sign to draw attention to his animal hospital.
- Starbucks had just moved in next door, so he focused the sign toward the road and the people waiting in line for coffee because he felt they were likely his target demographic.
- After installing the sign, new and existing customers were able to find him. He always kept his business name on part of the sign.
- Not only did it cut down on the clerical time of answering the phone to tell people where he was, he’s getting a lot of new customers from Starbucks. He hears that on a daily basis when they come in or call that they noticed him because of his sign.
