PORTSMOUTH, NH – At Cirrus we believe that the first few weeks with a new baby are precious and that parents deserve time to bond with their new child. The last thing on their minds should be worrying that they need to go back to work to pay their bills. Right now, only 21% of Americans have access to paid parental leave and we want to do better for our employees. Cirrus now offers 10 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents at full pay so they can heal and spend more time with their new baby. They may also take advantage of 2 additional weeks of parental leave to a total of 12 weeks of leave with full pay.
Cirrus is also offering 2 weeks of fully paid parental leave to partners, or families who have adopted or are fostering a child. We feel it’s important that all members of the family can bond and take time to celebrate this huge moment in their lives.
“Cirrus' paid parental leave is "one of the cornerstones" of our culture. This benefit enables parents to focus on the tremendous joy that comes with expanding their family and less about financial support and job security." - Amber Egan, Human Resources Manager, Cirrus LED
By providing 12 weeks of parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for partners, adopting families, or foster families at full pay, employees will be able to better create work/life balance and bond with their new family members.
This is just one of the many benefits that Cirrus offers to promote the health and well-being of our employees. Cirrus also offers health, vision, and dental insurance and 401K from day one and three weeks of accrued paid time off to all employees.
