About the Job

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence for all sales functions as we manage incredible growth and new vertical expansion.  You will oversee, implement and optimize all sales processes and technology to drive revenue. Developing sales territory plans, market growth goals, and funnel management, diving into the data to make educated course corrections to continually improve the framework. You have ownership of our CRM, KPI dashboards as well as providing accurate forecasting data to sales leadership. Remove friction in our day-to-day sales workflow to enable our sales teams to focus on what they do best.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all aspects of planning, reporting, forecasting quota and management, sales process optimization, sales development, territory planning, and sales compensation administration 
  • Provide guidance to sales leadership on the product types and pricing models to reach revenue goals while maximizing ROI for our customers
  • Influence CRM and sales technology strategy to scale ahead of the business’ needs; ensuring that the strategy takes into account the full sales and marketing funnel
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and cleanliness of the CRM with marketing, sales, product, and business systems teams
  • Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers
  • Weekly sales funnel inspection and optimization
  • Work with accounting, finance, and human resources to provide assistance with sales incentive compensation plans 
  • Preparing Quarterly Business Review presentations
  • Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement projects when you see the potential to eliminate waste.
  • Align performance to assigned KPI goals individually and for your team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive first-hand experience with progressive sales automation systems and demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data, and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/ drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes
  • A result and success-oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
  • An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
  • Expert in BI tools and CRM systems
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in  Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience working in sales, business or marketing operations, or business management and leading a team
  • Startup and SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience as a sales rep or manager is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Close visual focus required
  • The position requires the use of a headset, computer, and keyboard for the duration of a work day
