About the Job

The Sales Manager (SMB) is responsible for supporting and increasing revenue generation through selling LED video screen products and services to small and medium sized businesses with 40 locations or fewer.  The role includes recruiting, coaching, and managing a team of sales representatives.  You will be responsible for your team’s lead generation and close rates as well as maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Job Duties

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and growing an inside SaaS sales team
  • Work alongside the CRO to design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base through selling displays through a subscription model. Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) is a core focus of this channel
  • Work closely with marketing to optimize the sales funnel and lead generation efforts
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, training and performance management of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and the status of the competition
  • Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement projects when you see the potential to eliminate waste
  • Experience with utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to successfully manage and motivate the sales team.
  • Perform additional duties, as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets particularly in a B2B and SaaS sales environment
  • Exceptional prospecting and closing skills
  • Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Industry expertise a plus
  • Excellent recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and people management skills

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Close visual focus required
  • The position requires the use of a headset, computer, and keyboard for the duration of a work day
